Maybe when black communities take responsibility for what goes on in them they will quit oppressing themselves?

And it's not about me being able to use the word because it's not really part of my vernacular , it's about the convenient change of its meaning depending on who uses it.

One of my Hud customers processes their companys rental agreements. Some get wayyyyyyy more freebies from the govt than actual working American households! Ridiculous!

One example out of hundreds, was a family receiving $6500/month and was in the process of eviction for not paying their rent of $900/month!
Escalades, air Jordan's and multiple cell phones are expensive......rent can wait, right?

On these rental agreements, is there a space on there anywhere that you list your place of employment or have those all been replaced by spaces where you list the assistance you get? Asking for a friend.

And fwiw.....nobody is turning a blind eye to any of the real things going on and that need real changing.
But when the folks screaming for change can't or won't accept their own responsibility to make that change then nothing will.

Exactly. If you are causing troubles and committing crimes it’s only a matter of time before you will be on the Jerry Springer show.

Only when the black communities put their trust in leaders that are far more interested in seeing their communities prosper and develop as opposed to themselves prospering will there be gains made.

Does anyone really believe the black communities in our country will make moral and economic advances until they create a societal climate that encourages the nuclear family. A moral climate that discourages fatherless families and households. 74% of all black children are born into, and are raised in fatherless homes. NOTHING will change for the better until that percentage is drastically reduced.

It's painfully apparent that there is a climate of entitlement, stealing accepted as normal and encouraged and disregard for life and property within the inner city black communities is tolerated. All this has to change or things will do nothing but get worse.

Firing Kyle Larson did virtually NOTHING to even slightly advance the REAL problems in black communities. It only made people like mcarter feel better about themselves.

This shows a gross misunderstanding of the history of ghettos in America.

It's attitudes like this one that will only cause the black communities to retain status quo or get worse.

Spell out what is untrue and state your case. The 74% fatherless number is accurate and provable. The acceptance of stealing, killing and gang mob rule is also true and provable. There are an estimated 125,000 gang members in chitcago and the number goes up every day. The gang mobs have created an atmosphere that deems education and doing what is right as weak and uncool, and NOBODY wants to be seen as uncool in the "hood" and the perception of weakness is too often a death sentence.

You can make up all the $hit you want in a feeble attempt to rebut the obvious but every word above is the truth, and you know it.

Ghettos are essentially third world nation's within our country and have the same problems that third world nations have. Gangs are self-perpetuating entities that pull in members from the poor that have no other options. You fight gangs by increasing the population's wealth and education. Give them options for furthering their life rather than joining a gang.

The U.S. has a history of squashing black neighborhoods as they start to improve. Look at the Tulsa Race Massacre as an example.

Actually there is, and they check to make sure of their employment. Also, they check their criminal records to see if they have any drug related arrests and automatically toss their app if they do.

This company has approx 250 rental homes and have been doing it for a long time. They do their due diligence but still have their fair amount of evictions. And yes, 99% of them are black!

i do agree with you on a lot of your post , i guess one could say that when black Africans went into the jungle and caught the natives and sold them to Americans for slaves , that jungle would be considered a third world country at the time , now what did those native tribes {gangs} do in there natural habitat , they fought and killed among them selves , just like they do today in these third world cities like chitcaugo , detroit , NYC and so forth , so is it really the U.S. thats squashing black neighbor hoods or is it blacks doing it to them selves?????

Schools in poor neighborhoods aren't as good as school in rich neighborhoods. Rich neighborhoods pay more in property taxes so the schools are better funded.

Actually that's what is called "black priviledge". Then you also have peaceful terrorist priviledge, Democrat priviledge. And the list goes on....

Ghettos are kept that way on purpose by Democrat politicians.
