Western Europeans = Denmark, France, Germany, the UK. All Democratic Socialist. In general they don’t believe in capitalism. Production and wealth are equally owned. Also, there is a vast amount of taxes to fund public services that are “free”.

That being said, 2016 was then, 2020 is now. The stakes are much too high to pass up this chance. Name the name, get it to the Senate, let the Senate do their duty.

One has to consider how these things have taken place, just in my adult lifetime. The confirmation (and non-confirmation) processes of Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh are among the things to be considered. It is a blueprint for how the left behaves in these matters.

Taking the left at their word needs to be considered. They want expand and pack the courts with liberal justices. You know, to insure they get what they didn't get in the legislative process. They want to do away with the Electoral College. You know, so New York, LA, and Chicago get to pick your leaders. They want to re-write, or re-do the Constitution. You know, modernize it. Cause old white slave owners wrote it, right? They certainly have expressed their desire to ban certain firearms (many of us may legally own). Take Joe at his word, he's after your AR14. Take Beto at his word, he wants more and Joe wants to put him in charge of that project. They certainly want to be able to curtail speech and they have willing accomplices in media, social media, and the education establishment ready to help them. There's more, but just this should be enough.

There's too much at stake to ruminate over the semantics of what imperfect blowhards spouted out 2 years ago, 4 years ago, or 8 years ago. I don't care. Give me a good judge.

Do you like Social Security? How about Medicare? Those are two very popular programs in the US and any politician that talks about defunding them gets knocked down in the polls. They also happen to be socialist programs.

Capitalism still exists in Denmark, France, Germany, and the UK. I don't see a flood of citizens fleeing those countries to come here. Capitalism can live alongside socialist safety nets like a UBI, extended parental leave, universal health insurance, and subsidized daycare.
