    Default Older Longhorn smash numbers

Helping a guy and he recently bought a 2013 Longhorn and the owner doesn't have any smash numbers or setup sheets.

Running as a super, just looking for some baseline stuff. Car has the RF forward strut currently but has the option for reverse strut as well.

Smash numbers are just another way to scale. It's highly unlikely that the shock mount locations on the cages and other geometry will remain intact from 7 years ago. You will be much better off to scale with ride heights and scales. Then you can extract smash numbers from that.

We are not sure we have correct ride heights. Just going off his memory from 5-6 years ago.

Car is a 1 owner with very low nights & assembled at Longhorn but has sat for the majority of its life.

Just thought if someone had something in that time frame that could verify what we have.

I've watched too many people try to apply smash numbers to cars with altered geometry or from a different brand car. Just trying to help. If you have nothing, getting ride heights correct, and scale numbers, is a good first step. Then you can pretty much copy "dynamic" travel numbers for lf, rr, and lr from any car(using change from ride height). You will need to determine maximum travel on the rf, where the frame hits the ground, and set that at about 2800#. Then you work backwards from there.
