These sites have no inside information. They see a story or headline and run with it as their own. Pretty sad, IMO.

    April 30,2018 doesn't even make the top 10! I think I smell a troll

Interesting how he's running Lucas Oil events in the LM and not WoO.

The WoO hasn’t run any big events since he’s started running late models.

Not interesting at all, Lucas Oil has the bigger races that pay more to win. Outlaws have maybe 2-3 big money races a year

The pictures I saw of that were incredible .......in a very bad way.

No doubt the receding river dropped a ton of sand.

There have been several years it's flooded multiple times.

I will say both lucas races they have this year were good shows, but they were 50 laps. I know we got absolutely dumped on with rain leading up to the labor day show though too.

There may have been minor floods here and there but nothing like 2018. The last time it flooded the track that bad was 1997. They had to completely redo the whole track because it was in too bad of shape. Since the track was reconfigured, 2018 was by far 20X worse then any normal flooding. Problem is now, they are back where they were in 1997. Its going to be a costly process to dig out the track and lay new clay. The owner does not want to do that because it could be all for nothing if a major flood occurs again.

Probably because Rumley has pretty much run the Lucas races since he started with JD. That and the fact that Kyle probably salivated at the chance to run Port Royal which was on the Lucas schedule.

I can't remember it ever having new surface put on it. I've always heard the track gets money for damages after the floods come through, don't know if there is any truth to it though.
