We were told at Senoia that they were afraid there wouldn't be a good fan turnout because of the no fan deal at the big track. I guess being non sanctioned, they can advertise the winners purse and trim the rest however they wanted.

Just seen race was still called BJ Parker Memorial. I disagree with that title. A BJ Parker Memorial race should be a SAS event. Don’t know the behind the scene ins and outs leading up to this weekend but thats my 2¢.

over 200 cars there sat night , only thing i saw different was the spectator side a bit slack , but being as there was not the usual crowd at the big track , that was expected , other than that , i could not tell any difference ....as for BJ , he had a huge amount of respect for TST and disserved his memorial race with or without SAS .....

Was being sarcastic as I had heard the car count. Sanction/Unsanctioned didn’t make one bit of difference.

I wasn’t. Heard from a friend they had a huge turnout in the pits. Glad to see it.

Lynn Phillips aka Preacher is BJ's son in law. I don't know much but I know a little about BJ.
