Conley Motorsports, Inc. Litters Top Six at Atomic; Back to Buckeye State Oval Tomorrow

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) A trio of Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) drivers invaded Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday evening, September 26 for an unsanctioned special event, which paid out $3,000 to the winner. R.J. Conley, who has picked up three feature wins over the last month in the Buckeye State, ran third in his heat race to earn the outside of the fourth row in the 25-lap main event. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace was then on the move once again in the feature, as he blasted up to second and made a bid for the win late with a daring slidejob - only to wind up third at the checkered flag behind only winner Freddie Carpenter and runner-up Tyler Carpenter.

Delmas Conley secured a heat race victory and later rolled off from the inside of the second row in the 25-lapper. The Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer sported a fast racecar as well and stayed up inside of the top five to finish in the fifth position. Rod Conley was not far behind, as he placed second in his loaded heat race before winding up sixth in the final rundown at Atomic on 'Thomas Gas Night.' Complete results from the former K-C Raceway can be accessed online at www.atomicspeedway.net.

With Atomic Speedway continuing their late season special event schedule, the same three CMI drivers will head back to the Alma, Ohio facility on Saturday night, October 3 for the DIRTcar ‘Eastern Fall Nationals.’ Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley will all trek north on Highway 23 tomorrow to vie for the $5,000 top prize in the Super Late Model program. More information on this race can viewed by clicking on www.atomicspeedway.net.
