Looking like a 39 kind of night barring a catastrophic event. May have a new king of the long races? Rocket cars started off dominant but the stiffer longhorn and bloomquist chassis look strong as the track rubbers up. Tires could become an issue. Moran Richards TMac top 3 after the 40 lap fuel stop.

(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word). Devin had them covered and had a flat lr and Tmac with a flat rf tire with around 20 to go. Track is choo choo rubbered up on the bottom. Im sure more tire problems to come. RTJ with the lead for next restart. Could become a battle of attrition.

Flat tire cautions are becoming just as much annoying as having to throw a caution for Billy Bob who's back in 20th a lap down who keeps spinning out.

I applaud PPMS for only running 2 classes and keeping the show moving. But the track started streaking by lap 20 and was all but done by fuel stop at lap 40. Track crew or management missed it big time

Worst Pittsburgh 100 ive seen in many years. Im curious if RTJ could have passed any cars as good as he looked? Bummer for Devin but glad to see RTJ get it done.

How did it suck. Thornton won from 14th, Richards drove back thru after pit stop. EPJ was a plus 13 on positions. Fail to see your logic of the race sucking. Heck, Flinner went from 24th to 4th . Passing all over the place. Did it suck because you favorite driver didn't win????

A lot of that advancement was because of attrition and not good racing. Only 2 cars made the entire distance on their original tires. Was better to have issues early and move up when others went pitside. Reminded me of some of the old Pittsburghers that were day time races.

The track started out fine. After the fuel stop, it was locked down, the racing and passing was minimal at best. Clanton went from 2nd to 8th on the last lap because a tire was bald and going down.

Why or how does rush always get on a card as a second class at these big paying races ? To many cars on a track that really isn't maintained as well as it should be and it went to garbage. Glad to see RT win, the purse for this race needs reworked, 20K to win then it drops off to 2K for second place. That's a joke.

Really? It was a green, white and checker finish. The flagman was waving the white flag when it should have been the checker. Everybody was confused on that. They were telling him on the radio it was the final lap. Everybody was scored for 100 laps. It was rather confusing yes, not sure how LORTV and the announcer dropped the ball on this however.

Thank you, for setting this feller correct.

Nice work, on the solo call last night... Made the best of a track that faded late. As well as a mic that kept cutting out.

RTJ has impressed me for several years now. Nice to see him get a good late model ride, congrats to owners, crew, and driver.
    I hate time trials.

I hate fuel stops. When guys put too much engine in the car, to go the distance, when they always could before, it isn't the event's fault.

That track was slick and everyone could have made it. Not that it matters, IMO.

Thanks for the correction guys. I thought during the broadcast they mentioned 2nd place paying 2k.

Shame what PPMS has become, the track owners refuse to put any money in the place, it has been up for sale forever with a asking price that only a complete full would even consider. I feel that touring series need to start looking at facilities where races are being held at. That track last night was used up. I also believe they need to limit the ammount of classes to be run. That or have it in the contract you can run a heat race after time trails and heat races and any consolation race. It gives the fans that pd to come and see the touring guys a chance to get back on the road at a decent hour.

Voodoo all of that passing only happened because of all the new tires put on cars. It sucked.
