Lift bar mounting points on housing
Do the upper and lower mounting mounts on the housing have a large effect on the chassis? In terms of instant traction.
Last years chassis (blue/grey) that had a Birky style lift bar, with the Top mounting point farther ahead than he bottom. The car seemed to have decent continuous traction down the straightaways.
This years chassis (XR1) has a lift bar that the top mount is behind the location of the bottom mount.
How much effect do those two mounting points have?

How about lowering your mounting points on the frame and liftbar for the coilover? Actually lowering the whole spring & shock?

For the most part, no real effect
Now you could argue that lowering or raising it will effect the lifting point on the car relative to the COG of the car when the car is in extreme roll. However to have much effect the mounts would need to be moved quite a bit to have a noticeable effect, but it is there just argumental on how big the effect could be.
Raising it would have more effect on lifting the right side of the car and reducing roll while on the gas and vice versa
