Somebody has already mentioned throwing the crown jewel moniker out the window for this thread....clearly there aren't 10 of them and most of the top tier races that have a chance at being qualified have already been mentioned....dream, world etc.

This thread seems to have evolved into a top ten most prestigious races to win or watch......and its strictly an a opinion but anyone that doesn't have an east bay speedweeks race in their top ten races to see each year probably has never been.
I've seen way more great races than crappy ones there.....not many places in the country can say that with a straight face.

BINGO......the only crappy ones are the daytime races. Even then, you make an extra trip to the concession stand, and have another strawberry shortcake! That seems to make the race...... less crappy!

The real question is did someone really list a top 15 that didn't incude the letters PDC?!?
Don't ever trust someone who believes the PDC is just another run of the mill race.
I'm going to guess they've never actually experienced the atmosphere during a PDC weekend.

Ever since 2013 it was the first year it started to pay more than $10k when it also went to WoO. Other than that it was just a $10k UMP race. How did it get to be a Crown Jewel is 7 years???

Are you talking about PDC?
What I just said is there's no chance 15 races are listed ahead of PDC.
Look at the criteria listed in the header...PDC checks those boxes.
Outside of the World, the hype for PDC weekend is at the top for atmosphere.
Definitely the top 1/4 mile track race.
