RHRSwag.com, Barnett Harley-Davidson return as X-Mod division sponsors at 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (Oct. 16, 2020) — The X-Mod division competing in the 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts on Jan. 9-17 at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway will once again boast RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories as its title backer and Barnett Harley-Davidson as a presenting sponsor, miniseries officials have announced.

A $1,000 payoff has been posted for the points champion of the six X-Mod races scheduled during the early-season racing extravaganza. The class will contest four $500-to-win features and $1,000-to-win headliners on Jan. 10 and 17 and battle for a total points fund of $2,500 in cash — to be shared among the top-five finishers — courtesy of RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories and Barnett Harley Davidson.

Scott Blintz — aka the “Red Headed Rebel” — heads RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories, a Jamestown, N.D.-based company that offers a wide variety of truck accessories and "cool products” for dirt-track racers and fans.. Blintz is a longtime supporter of the Wild West Shootout and a Modified racer himself who retired from competition after competing in the 2019 miniseries, but he has announced that he will return to the driver’s seat to participate in the ’21 Wild West Shootout.

“Scott Bintz’s involvement with the Wild West Shootout as a sponsor has been ongoing for several years, but his involvement as a driver took a one-year hiatus in 2020,” said Wild West Shootout marketing coordinator Jason Babyak. “His absence from competition was short-lived, though, as he is ready to get back behind the wheel in 2021 in the X-Mod division that he sponsors. I know the event will feel a bit more normal with Scott back in a firesuit and flashing his ever-popular and contagious smile.”

Dubbed the “World’s most liked Harley-Davidson dealership,” Barnett Harley-Davidson is located in El Paso, Texas, and has become a stalwart sponsor of the Wild West Shootout activities through its owner Sherman Barnett, who has also been a participant in the mid-winter event along with his wife Christy Georges-Barnett.

“It’s an honor to have Barnett Harley-Davidson sponsor our event and to have Sherman Barnett race with us,” said Wild West Shootout promoter Chris Kearns. “Sherman's ability behind the wheel of a race car is absolutely astonishing for his age.”
