I can’t help but feel bad for Hudson ONeal.... SSI practically lied to him last year and that just doesn’t sit right...

Exactly what I was thinking the first time they put Thornton in that car. I compare it with the Best ride. They wanted to cut back and Richards leaves for Bowyer and all of a sudden Terbo is in it full time

There's more to that Hudson Oneal deal than was told. SSI didn't really like.

Yep, I was told they didn't really like how little time Hudson spent at the shop. Not sure how much time Thornton spends there now since he lives in Iowa, but he and TC have been friends for quite a while having raced together in the southwest.

Not a good way to go about it regardless. Two wrongs don't make a right

He’s good enough to win ROY and the big title at the same time. Won’t even surprise me. When you watch him run, you can see he is good in any condition or groove and is very good about searching out the traction. On top of that, he’s aggressive but not to the point where he makes a ton of contact. Just flat out good.

2021 Lucas ROY will probably be the best class we have seen in a couple years.

Full time touring rides depend on how much money you can conceivably bring with you and how much you are likely to tear stuff up. Some drivers make more sense in those equations than others.

The best DLM series in the world keeps getting better while World of Richards gets worse.

Everyone is running a Nat. tour till Speedweeks are complete. Then we'll see who's left.

That was my first thought when I read the announcement yesterday that the team Hudson O'neal girlfriend's parents have or whatever. Everyone says that until after speedweeks or 3-4 events after then and they bail.

Hudson certainly has some potential, but he has a tendency (especially in the SSI ride last year) to tear stuff up. Meanwhile, Ricky very rarely tears stuff up and he has done well in major events. Thus, I can understand why they would want to back him on a national tour.

It's very conceivable that when they let Hudson go they had every intention of scaling back as was said. Then after the success they've had with Thornton got re motivated. Happens all the time especially with racing you think your done with it and hate it until you quit and it's still all you think about

Hudson is driving for Double Down next year. The current ride was always a short term bridge.

I have never seen Hudson drive like a pinball. I'm confused at your comments.
