    Should have been in sooner — whenever he was first eligible. He’s had a better career than most of the drivers already inducted.

    Good to hear he made it to the HF. He was always a great guy to talk face to face with before a race. Good to see a clean racer make it.

    I think this Hall of Fame has gotten watered down just like all others sports Hall of Fame's have gotten. Someone is HOF material when you don't even have to think about it. If you have to think about whether or not someone is a Hall of Famer, they're probably not.

    He was very impressive at Lancaster in September. Good pick for HOF.

    I’m assuming you aren’t referring to Lanigan, because he is an automatic, no-doubter HOFer. As for other sports, I mostly agree with you. But times change. Eras change. Sports change. I could give many examples of particular famous HOFers who definitely wouldn’t be HOFers in their sport in other eras, for various reasons.
