He is getting out of being an owner. Thats why hes closing the doors on kLR. He will continue to drive the #57 sprint car and #6 LM car when schedule permits while racing cup cars

Of course Kyle is shutting down. Hendrick doesn’t allow drivers to run dirt. Does he ?

Kyle shutting down his sprint car team has nothing to do with him being allowed to race dirt. He owns the team and has a hired driver. He doesn’t drive the car

Rick has let his drivers run some dirt. Kahne ran a lot with HMS, just not on a Cup race weekend. Bowman runs some dirt still. I expect Larson to still run a decent amount of dirt. Also Rick's daughter and son-in-law will own and run HMS and car empire overall. Sure Jeff will probably be Pres or VP of HMS some day.

Bowman tweeted a picture of this yesterday

    along with this information

For those asking, were not racing it in 2020. Things didn’t work out to make Kokomo or Charlotte. 2021 will be a good time though. - https://twitter.com/AlexBowman88/sta...547128320?s=20

I know Kahne ran some dirt. Maybe old Hendrick is changing a bit. Jeff and Jimmy didn’t run much of anything outside of cup (and a big reason I never liked that bunch). Good looking sprint car from Bowman👍👍👍

I hope you are right and I hope an Indy 500 deal can work as well for Boy Larson.

Still aloud to race dirt too. Even tho the haters said he wouldn't let it happen. It's actually gonna allow chase Elliott to race dirt late models

Undoubtedly Rick knows how important dirt is to Kyle. Rick kind of backed off on that rule during KCs last few years. It will be great to see Larson in top notch equipment.

I’d prefer to see him with a different crew chief. 48 car is junk this year.
