Swore that place off around 2000. Told a friend I’d hand him $1,000 if I ever went back there again. I don’t owe him any $$$.

I'd say dirt racing in Alabama must be doing pretty good if they can fill full fields for that many classes.
11 classes? I didn't know their were that many classes to choose from. Good for them.

If they're paying $2k for front wheel drive 4 cylinders ofcourse your probably going to have a full field. If they were paying $100 to win they probably are going to have 10 cars.

Maybe it should be called National 100 Hours.

The fine print that is not legible states that "the rules and purses, can, and probably will, change before, during, or after the races are completed". Welcome to EAMS!

And they won't tell you who has pre entered. They don't want anyone to know that no one is showing up

Terry M. I've been to Screven 3 times. The track is fantastic, but they have never had a show I've been to start anywhere near on time. Been to the woo race twice, they never got the first heat on track until 10:30 PM Really !!! It seems they've lost the woo show. I've heard rumors as to why and I'll just say it had to do with time management skills.

dont blame you one bit , and B_K , 2000 is the year they put the screw to me and have not been back since . maybe , just maybe one day some out sider , if you know what i mean , will purchase that place and run it properly , could very well be one of the premier tracks in the south east......
