They are going to have some nasty weather the next couple of days... so hopefully they won't get too much rain and have it ready by Saturday.

Any race at Wythe is worth going to, just for the view.

Surface looks like Taz with the high banking but it's a 1/2 miler. Speeds have to be incredible.

Dam y'all....I've never heard a single bad thing about it ever.....not once, people that run it have a stellar reputation as well, never heard anything but good about them either.

It's somewhere I have to get too.......I saw a crazy sprint car test video on it, insane.

Not gonna lie,I'm a little envious of those of you that get to go.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

Can’t remember his name but- the owner goes to every team in attendance and personally thanks them for coming. He also works the crowd to thank them as well! Southern Hospitality really works well at Wythe!

The family went down the starting line up at the Powell at all tech and shook the drivers hands and thanked them for coming......was very cool.

Fred Brown is the name that comes to mind at wythe.

Yep, Fred Brown. I believe he is the guy who built it too.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Fred did build it, great promotor and human being. My favorite racetrack for sure, moved south in 1990, first trip to Wythe in 2001 I looked at my dad and asked why we didn't get there sooner! BBQ, make it to Mooresville one of these trips and you can ride up with me. I would have to divorce my wife versus skip a race at Wythe (and my wife would tell you she would do the same!).

And according to Fred Brown, I am 'his favorite driver'....(tells me that every time he sees me, starting to get the idea he says that to everyone......)
