Austin Horton Tops Limited Late Model Field at Senoia

NEWNAN, Ga. (10/28/20) – Austin Horton conquered the Limited Late Model field on Friday night at Senoia Raceway. The triumph came behind the wheel of his Orr’s Trucking No. 16 Super K Express/ Horton Flyer/ Bobby Thomas Racing Engines Limited Late Model.

On Friday, Austin Horton visited Senoia (Ga.) Raceway to compete in the two-day Showdown at Senoia. In a field of 16 Limited Late Models, Horton locked his spot into the opening night feature with the second fastest lap overall in time trials behind Oliver Gentry.

Blowing past Gentry on the high-side on the opening lap, Austin went on to dominate the 20-lapper, taking the checkers 9.600 seconds ahead of Gentry to record his sixth win of the season. Jacques Daniel, Clint Smith, and Cass Fowler rounded out the Top-5.

Saturday night's Schaeffer's Fall Nationals Series-sanctioned Billy Clanton Classic was postponed to November 21st due to rain.
