    ADAIRSVILLE, GA - The Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman Week 22 results are listed below. Scottie Hiett of Wedowie, AL is the 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series National Champion with a best 11-week total of 549 points.

    Hiett was one point away from a Perfect Season of 550 points despite missing six weeks of the 22-week season while he was hospitalized battling the COVID 19 pandemic. Hiett had ten 50-point wins and a 49-point second-place finish to make up his point total.

    The Top 10 drivers in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman National point standings will be honored at the Crate Racin’ USA Annual Awards Banquet on January 23, 2021 at the Gatlinburg, TN Convention Center. They will receive a point fund check and a trophy.

    The 2019 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman National Champion Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL will finish second in the 2020 National standings with a best 11-week total of 547 points. Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN will take the third spot with a best 11-week total of 545 points.

    Seth Johnston of Santa Fe, TN will be fourth in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman National standings with a best 11-week total of 540 points. Bradley Qualls is fifth in the National standings with a best 11-week total of 537 points. Tim Staples of Pell City, AL is sixth with a best 11-week total of 530 points.

    Blake Cross of Centerville, TN is seventh in the National standings with a best 11-week total of 527 points and Tracy Terrell is eighth with a best 11-week total of 526 points. Chuckie Gipson of Tuscumbia, AL is ninth in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman standings with a best 11-week total of 521 points.

    Jamie Gowers of Vincent, AL rounds out the Top 10 of the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman National standings with a best 11-week total of 516 points.
