Schaeffer Oil continues as Official Racing Oil of the 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (Nov. 6, 2020) — Schaeffer Oil, the nation’s oldest and most trusted oil and lubricant manufacturer, is returning as the Official Racing Oil of the 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts that runs from Jan. 9-17 at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway.

Founded in 1839 in St. Louis, Mo., the 181-year-old Schaeffer Oil Company has become a well-known name in motorsports. The storied company came on board last year in a headline position among backers of the Wild West Shootout, which features six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing.

As part of Schaeffer Oil’s partnership with the Wild West Shootout, Super Late Model heat winners will participate in the Schaeffer Oil Redraw each night in hopes of claiming the Gorsuch Performance Solutions Pole Position. The drivers’ starting spots will be printed underneath the bottles of Schaeffer Oil used for the redraw.

“It is great to have a company like Schaeffer Oil continue their relationship with the Wild West Shootout,” said event marketing coordinator Jason Babyak. “The company and its products have, and continue, to prove to be the premier lubricant not only in racing but in so many additional industries around the country. For the nation’s oldest oil and lubricant manufacturer to be invested in grassroots racing for exposure is a great plan for marketing and exposure and we look forward to a long-term relationship with them.”

The 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts will pay out over $255,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing. Tripleheaders are set for Jan. 9, 10, 13, 15, 16 and 17 at the 3/8-mile oval located just outside of Phoenix. Additionally, an open practice session is slated for both Jan. 8 and 12.

Each division will compete for a miniseries points championship and accompanying point fund, and officials recently announced that the Jan. 17 series finale for the Super Late Models will offer an event-record $25,000 first-place prize.

Online sales of single and multi-day tickets are now available for the Southwest’s popular miniseries. Tickets are priced at $25 per night for adults and $10 for kids ages 6-12 with children 5-and-under admitted free of charge. A six-day general admission combo ticket is also available for $150 and includes a pit-pass upgrade for one night as chosen by the purchaser as well as a free Wild West Shootout seat cushion.

Six-day passes can be purchased in advance at www.wildwestshootout.net/schedule/ or at the track on January 9’s opening night of the Wild West Shootout.
