Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series Headlines Upcoming Gobbler at Boyd’s Speedway

(RINGGOLD, GEORGIA) A November tradition will continue next weekend, as the annual running of ‘The Gobbler’ will take place from November 12-14 at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia! The Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series will be a part of the action-packed weekend at the Chattanooga-area facility and will sanction a one-day show next Saturday, November 14 paying $5,000 to the winner. A complete program will be on tap for the Super Late Models featuring Group A & B qualifying, heat races, and a 40-lap main event.

This will mark the inaugural visit by the Fall Nationals tour to Boyd’s Speedway, but the track has a long history of hosting both Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals and Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals shows. Previous Southern Nationals winners at Boyd’s include Randy Weaver ('14), Casey Roberts ('15), David Payne ('16), Brandon Overton ('17), and Vic Hill ('18), while Vic Hill ('13), Dale McDowell ('14), Donald McIntosh ('15), Mike Marlar ('16), and Brandon Overton ('17) all reached Spring Nationals victory lane at the storied track, which is located right on the Tennessee/Georgia state line.

The Crate Late Model and Sportsman divisions will also qualify and run their heat races on Friday evening. The Super Late Models will be able to practice throughout the night.

Along with the $5,000 to win ‘Gobbler’ for the Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series on Saturday, the Crate Late Models will run their consolation events and their $3,000 to win main event. The Sportsman class will do the same, as their B-Mains will lead into a feature event paying $3,000 to the winner as well. Also on Saturday’s card is the A-Hobby ($750 to win) and a 100-lap Enduro ($1,250 to win). If you can’t make it out to the track on Saturday, all of the wheel-to-wheel racing action will be broadcast LIVE to subscribers on www.FloRacing.com!
