Super Late Model drivers will again chase SportTruck RV Fast Time Award presented by Screven Motor Speedway at January’s Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (Nov. 20, 2020) — Chandler, Ariz.-based SportTruck RV is continuing as a backer of the 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway, signing on again as the title backer of the Super Late Model division’s fast-qualifier award alongside presenting sponsor Screven Motor Speedway and the Sylvania, Ga., track’s February Winter Freeze XI event.

The Super Late Model fast-timer in qualifying each night of the six-race miniseries that runs from Jan. 9-17 will receive a unique commemorative “check” — a mini aluminum Late Model door panel — and $100 in cash.

“Having SportTruck RV, the number one Renegade dealer in the country, just miles from the event continues to be a great opportunity for their team to showcase their inventory and ability to assist teams of all levels from around the country while staying close to home,” said Wild West Shootout marketing director Jason Babyak. “To have them back on-site at the track with a display and a part of the nightly Super Late Model fast-time ward is a perfect fit for all, and I look forward to continuing our relationship for yet another year.”

Located just 40 miles from FK Rod Ends Speedway at 1230 S. Akimel Lane, Chandler, Ariz., SportTruck RV is a local source for SportTrucks and Renegades which are built on Heavy Duty Commercial Chassis — foundations that are built to last and are rated to safely tow almost anything. Information on the business can be found online at www.sporttruckrv.com or by calling at 866-570-1465.

Redd Griffin’s Screven Motor Speedway, meanwhile, is also returning as the presenting sponsor of the fast-time award. The track is publicizing its 2021 Winter Freeze XI event, which runs over two weekends with the Jan. 29-30 doubleheader headlined by the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All-Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars and the Feb. 5-6 twinbill featuring Ultimate Southeast Super Late Model Series-sanctioned races paying $7,500- and $10,000-to-win. For more information like “Screven Motorsports Complex” on Facebook and follow the track on Twitter @ScrevenMSC.

“Screven Motor Speedway is very excited to be able to be a small part of the Wild West Shootout again,” said track owner/promoter Redd Griffin. “Being a sponsor gives us fantastic nightly exposure to a large national racing audience to help promote our Winter Freeze Speedweeks events in January and February. I really enjoy watching these Wild West Shootout races, and to hear our track mentioned multiple times each night just makes it that much more enjoyable for me. It is great to see how they have grown the event each year and I am proud to be a part of it.”

With the Wild West Shootout offering five features paying $5,000 to win and now a $25,000-to-win finale, a driver able to pull off the feat of sweeping the miniseries would depart Arizona with over $303,000 in earnings including the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge bonus as well the $3,000 champion’s check.

When Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars teams assemble at the third-mile oval outside Phoenix for six nights of racing Jan. 9-17, 2021, a checkered-flag sweep of the miniseries by one driver will for the fifth consecutive year be worth a blockbuster $250,000 bonus. In addition, winning five of six features will earn a racer an extra $100,000; capturing four A-mains offers a $25,000 prize; and being the first driver to top three headliners will provide a $10,000 check.

The 2021 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts will pay out over $255,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing. Tripleheaders are set for Jan. 9, 10, 13, 15, 16 and 17 at the 3/8-mile oval located just outside of Phoenix.

Additionally, an open practice session is slated for both Jan. 8 and 12.

Last but not least, each division will compete for a miniseries point’s championship and accompanying point fund.

Online sales of single and multi-day tickets are now available for the Southwest’s popular miniseries, which features six nights of racing from January 9 – 17 for Super Late Models, Modifieds and X-Mods at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway.
