What's the odds that rain will be in the weather forecast 2 weeks out from the Fairbury date?

Curl said he lost money having the WoO's Sprint Cars during the week. I wonder what makes him think he's going to fair any better having the ASCoC's during the week? Maybe the FloRacing PPV money will keep this one from being cancelled. Nonetheless, look out for a cancellation 2 weeks ahead of the date of the event!!

first off Matt wasn't promoting Fairbury when that b.s. went down and had nothing to do with it. second the payout is smaller which tells me he might be willing to give another series a shot during a week day race. With the IRA being involved they should have a good field of cars.

Never said Curl had anything to do with it, did I?

On Fairbury's Facebook page there were a couple of comments regarding the portion of the 2021 season schedule that has been recently released that I found to sum up the reason for the failure of anything but fendered racecars to be profitable at Fairbury. I quote "sprint cars need to stay out of stock car country". When the poster was asked if he believed that there are no dirt open wheel fans in Illinois he replied "not unless you are talking about modified's". For better or for worse this guy speaks for a huge portion of the FALS fanbase. I attend many events at Fairbury throughout the season and we hear this sentiment over and over. It's late models/modifieds or nothing to these people.

We had hopes for a National USAC show of some kind someday coming to Fairbury but given the failures of the WoO's and the WAR/MOWA fiasco our optimism of that ever happening is in short supply.
