I don’t understand the insistence on having that many divisions. No show is special when you gotta be there like 8 hours to see the headliner.

Looks like all they did was skip heat races and over saturated it with a bunch of qualifying.

    Mini LM qualifying? Cmon' man

8 classes is nuts. 4 different late model classes including mini late models. SMDH.

I've never understood qualifying every class, perhaps it's just me but it seems to me a lot of the tracks in the south insist on doing this. I was at 411 last weekend and watched what seemed like 300+ cars qualify, granted I was there with a car but I can't imagine a fan sitting thru all that qualifying. I'd much rather pill draw and passing points than go thru that format. The ironman series I believe runs the format with qualifying, locking in the top 8-10 cars then starting straight up; I just don't think it produces good racing. That being said there were 300+ cars for a 2 day show and the place had a lot of fans so I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Pert near everyone at DoD voiced their opinion on to many classes. Guess some promoters are blind to what the fans really want.

It’s about back gate revenue. If I lived within 10 miles and saw this format I wouldn’t attend. Crazy.

They could get it done early if there wasn't 8 classes to qualify. Pill draw those other classes and it would be over by 6 or 7.

That was the issue last week. Everything started at noon, racing didn't start til 3 because of all the qualifying that had to take place. I dont see them getting near the cars they had at 411 though.

I don't have anything really closer than a couple hrs away and when I go which is almost every chance I get( I have 26 armbands tied to my oh sh!t handle in my truck from this year), I don't mind the extra classes, figure if I'm already there anyway I might as well watch or at least cook us something to eat while the boring stuff is going on.

It's harder for me to watch tons of classes on tv than it is to watch them at the track....think it's the recliner.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

I think the fact that they are running that much in December when the weather is questionable compared to running in other months like May through August. The hardcore fan will be there in December. But the casual fan probably not so much.

22 cars. If Bloomquist can't run top 3 with this group he already has some issues going into 2021.

Thought Overton would be there also?

I was surprised to see Rich Bell there also. That's along way from where he's at in IL.
