Ya'll are nitpicking to avoid acknowledging that the Trump Administration is (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ing up the delivery of the vaccines.

Yet I will stand by what I said in post #59. You are a better and much smarter person than some of your “straw-man fallacy” retorts.

That wasn’t a strawman. It wasn’t even begging the question. Bbqboy likes to nitpick instead of actually addressing the issue so it was an ask for him to make clear what his position is.

So would it be preemptive and fair to shutdown all incoming travel to the USA? Or would that be Orange Man Bad? Or would that be Senile Ol’man Bad? But its too late 45 days from now?

Someone better do something now!!! Right??? Wait until inauguration and its too late.

I would support a full lockdown including all incoming travel except for critical travel like imports.

A few points here IMHO -

So if Trump does do another full lockdown, will he get positive credit from the Democrats? Or will they negatively bust his ba!!s just because he was the one to do it? Before Senile Biden that is? Or is that the set-up for Harris to come in later and save us all?

If we are going to do it, just do it and get it over with, dam to he!! the outcome of it. Because another short term lockdown and then coupled with the long term lockdown agendas/programs ---- will absolutely kill this country, economically, mentally, and physically. Kiss the middle class good bye, and say hello to the new USA form of socialist, or socialism, wealth wise. As the lower and middle class will be dependant on Government assistance.

Like I’ve said since the election, the Democrats “own it” now, run with the ball, its all yours. No more namby-pamby crying, you “own it”.

You say “full lockdown”. I take it you mean everyone except those that qualify as essential workers. Last time around I qualified as an essential worker, and know the mixed bag of those qualifications. I personally don’t even come close to being an essential worker, job wise. (Truck and RV industry if it matters.) Point being, I think I have the concept on how the essential workers game is played, and the impact of those effects/results.

We wouldn’t need any “imports” of goods if we are locked down. Right?

Yet another absurd post totally distorting the facts again. When you don't have any freedoms left and commerce turns into empty shelves will you still blame the wrong people???

Imports are still needed even during a lockdown because people are still going to need to buy food and items to keep their homes running.
