FB is a certifiable mess, regardless of your party or beliefs.

I would love to see Facebook broken up, but I don't see a court making it happen. Best case is they are forced to create an open API and let third parties access the data.

Obama's FTC should have never let Facebook acquire Instagram or WhatsApp.

In “access the data” ---- is that a good thing? I’d think it isn’t the best idea? Or is it possibly the only options the AG’s might have?

From your knowledge, how much of the “access the data” is personal detailed info that can be expounded in nature?

Thinking Facebook marketplace here ------ Can/Could your credit card buying habits be tracked or monitored, then openly “third parties access the data”??

Or am I thinking wrong about this?

Suckerburg spent a half a billion trying to steal the election. And censored all free speech concerning election fraud. He doesnt want the truth exposed because he is head over heels involved in the fraud and cheating himself.

At least you can see that much!!!

[QUOTE=over4T;2370293]I'd like to see Twitter dissolved so Trump wouldn't be able to bypass cnn, msdnc, and any other "news" site, and tweet the truth to Americans!

    Fixed it for ya!

With any API there are different levels of access. There is anonymized aggregate data that advertisers on the platform already use that could be opened up to those outside the platform. There is also personal data that app developers on Facebook access through the approval of the individual users. That could also be opened up to app developers outside of the platform to use with approval of the individual users.

Facebook's value comes from the data in its silo. Once they have to open that up, they don't have as strong of an advantage.
