Default 2015 Rumley 6 vs. 2019/20 rocket house car

In a 50 lap, Lucas oil sanctioned race, who you got? I pick the 6. That car did things that season I haven't seen anyone do since. I remember him spinning out on the backstretch and still passing everyone without a caution. 6 was up against tougher competition that year then the Rocket car has been since Marlar left and still made a boat load of money that year.

And yet they only won the Lucas title by a mere 55 points. Some say it might've been different had the double header in GA not rained out.

The actual 6 car, from 2015 would lose. Cars have gotten better.

As dominate as that #6 car was, it would be cool to see.

I get laid off in the winter, so I sit around and watch a bunch of old races. It's amazing how much the attitude of these cars have changed since that time.

    You're right though.

Most of what they had with the device has been reapplied within the rules. Other things have been learned, as always happens.

You are right, it wasn't quite as noticeable as the switch to lr behind, but it was a big change in the way the cars race.

Not this year, but in 2019 they won 900+k. Won the most money on both tours that year.

I believe that they replace their hauler every 2-4 years.

    Tougher competition?

The one car, the 6, competition goes up and down always. I’d take the one car, very consistent, and has had multiple years as good as the 6 on both tours with no signs of slowing down. And he only won the Lucas points by a small margin as was already stated.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Which is smart, but yeah, $$$$$. Can you imagine putting all that time into your cars and operation, and having a POS hauler?

It’s also a great investment. Those haulers don’t lose their value.there are some 2015 S&S’s on racingjunk still going for 400k

I beleive that actually makes money if not brakes even the demand for those hualers is high so they tend to bring realy good money since the line to get a new one is so long

Imagine it? Heck, I've witnessed it for quite a few years. Glad that's finally history.
