Yeah Huddy’s car looks good...I second the earlier comment about the red number. Solid choice there.

Deppe Enterprises sure has been with Jimmy for a long time. That's one good sponsor.

Dave Deppe actually passed away in Feb 2019. Dave was a GREAT sponsor to many racers up this way and he was a terrific guy. I actually spoke with him just a few weeks before he passed and he was just back from the WWSO and really in great spirits at that time as Jimmy and the bunch had done very well. His passing was surprise to me as he seemed to be just looking forward to another race season.

The Deppe logo has been on cars since at least the early 70s. He supported Dave Watson in USAC stocks, the Sauter family in many of their asphalt late models, Dave Marcis in NASCAR, and host of others that I can't even remember off the top of my head. He was a prince and really loved racing and if I was in a position to do an honor to him I would never take his name off the car.
Very good post. Yeah, I remembered reading up on his passing and I think they talked to Jimmy. Thanks for the insight.

It’s got the XR1 stickers on the cage. He’s like ride or die with Lanigan and Lanigan went back to Rocket after all these years, it’s not at all surprising that TJR got some too.

Couldnt find an actual picture of just the car anywhere, but I’m noticing extra touches of blue on the skirt and nosepiece of Davenport’s car...this is just a Tweet of the WWSO announcement “poster” https://mobile.twitter.com/TheFast49...573568/photo/1

Something worth noting, Terbo switched to Clements engines.
