He's been racing mods on and off in my area for the last few years. He's actually pretty quick most of the time.

He pulls his hauler with a stub nosed short bus. Before that he had a Chevy truck i wouldn't have crossed the street with, and a open trailer. You can tell he's racing on budget.

    Thumbs up

Ricks has done ok this week. Some guys are getting a hold of the track better then others. I have 6 friends racing there from my area with the Modifieds (#21c, #38, #27, #27K, #7D, & #21A). Been watching the racing all week on FloRacing.

He was racing the first time I visited Brownstown back in the late 90's. As I recall, the fast line actually took you off the back straight for a bit. Seeing him virtually "wheelie" his way back onto the track was an attention getter! Hope he still gets it done.

I remember that one well. Rick was running what I call the diamond line, and was the only car on the track running it. It was pretty awesome to watch.

I remember when Rick won the Show Me 100 in '97 when they ran it during the day on Sunday that year. He led all 100 laps toting the left front all the way.
