Bob and James are not the best I've heard, but they aren't the worst either, and both are very good guys.
Bob answers questions on Twitter during the event, and is very excited about the sport. That being said, my favorite announcer was Ozzie Altman. I thought he was a great race announcer in the HAT days.

Announcing is a thankless job in many cases. Some fans prefer a proactive announcer, some want a more basic call. Like being a teacher it痴 a job that many of us wouldn稚 want, thank goodness someone does.

Ozzie was at the top for sure. He had a memory like no one else when he was 'doing well', he used to stop in and see me from time to time when he lived in the area-miss that for sure.

Kidding aside, the enthusiasm and realism he brings to the broadcast is pretty cool.....the rest of it is pretty insignificant to me on a broadcast.
