Speaking of Kenny Wallace. I see he is scheduled to race at the dirt track in Fairbanks Alaska around the end of June.

Back to Pro Power, they will be back......racing is a fickle business. Durham had their day at the top of the heap. Cornett has made a comeback after being the forgotten engine for a few years and now it seems half the touring teams have one again.

Kenny was running very early TRD engines. He had to switch away from them because they used up all of the leftover parts. He posted a video about this explaining that it would be too expensive to have discontinued parts made.

Monkey see, monkey do. Everyone sees driver XXX running an XXX chassis with an XXX engine and they think that combination will put them over the top. Usually the monkey doesn't have the driving skills of driver XXX nor the support of team XXX and the results rarely change. Whatever the winner has is the hot ticket.

Sheldon Haudenchild is running a new TRD this year in ASoC. Ran really strong with it over the weekend in GA and would have had a good finish but spun himself out. The engine game is cyclical as years ago Cornett was all the rage then faded, Custom, Pro Power, Durham, Hill.... etc. They all rise and fall at the whims of the DLM racing community.

I thought the thing with Durham was the rumor of using used parts in new engines but blamed it on a bad batch of parts.

Terbo is running nothing but Clements. The end of last year he used Steven Roberts Clements motor & fell in love with it

Pro Powers seem to go boom an awful lot these days. Fixing that would go a long way.

Boom runs Clements. Chub had a Durham motors a few years ago not sure if he has changed it up or not

Kenny wallace is running a Mullins chevy,Chevy, believe he had a nascar truck engine in his modified but since they went to spec engines in truck series trd doesn't build them anymore

Jay dkens as great for a while its like chassis things swap around .like it use to be draime malcuit there are alot diff factors sometimes its what quickly available to drivers......
