    Default Harmonic Balancers?

What brand, type, weight and diameter are you using on different built SBC engines? Also how did you come to that decision? There's a lot of different stuff out there, some good, some terrible.

    RPM and Budget.

more RPMS you plan on running, the better the balancer you would need.
    I would recommend an ATI.
I always had good luck out of them, and they are a reputable company. Plus they can be sent back in to be checked if there is any questioning it. I always ran the 8" balancers.
I ran a UMP modified, and was turning 8-8200 RPM
    JMO though
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

ATI is all we have ran for over 20 years , you can buy the O-ring kit from them and rebuild them your self , so unless damaged , the shells will last you for ever .....

ATI is likely the best...but I have a Fluid Damper that came with my engine so that's what I will use.

it will work , supposedly , they had some issues at very high RPM,s but i dont think you are turning your engines that much , any way , any of them is better than those rattlers they were pushing several years ago.......
