There's not going to be much passing in late models - can't throw sliders at those speeds either.

The track is bound to slick off, especially with all the racing through the week and all of the classes that will be running Friday and Saturday when SLM are there.

Radar wouldn't be as a accurate as an on board GPS. The newer go pro cams have built in GPS, and also measure g-forces. That's what they need.

Wonder if they’ll use top groove in the turns at all?

Sooner or later the middle should wear out I would think

Kyle Busch will be in a Jonathan davenport car

Interested to see how it holds up after all the rain that is coming over the next 2-3 days.
2021 race count
6 events

You better worry about how it holds up after they 300 or 400 hundred cars over it every night for a week look at the schedule of events.

Busch also ran a late model sat Williams Grove in 09. I'm thinking it was for a charity of some sort.

Both cars were ridiculously fast 20 yrs ago...So fast the aluminum wheels wasn't holding up..... They either made everybody or they choose to...Steel Wheels!! Sprints, some were never lifting!!! After couple days of racing with all them classes, should slick off and slow down. I agree wth whomever said it, them cup racers should be racing Heavy ass street stockers, might be closer to what there cars will race like..?

I bet when the track does slick off you'll see everyone complaining about the dust. Then you have a visibility issue. 1 poster above said it, those wheel centers were not designed for that kind of stress.

From the PCC Motorsports Facebook page.
Here are a couple of laps with Kyle Strickler on the track in the #8. Video taken from the Bristol Motor Speedway infield.
That motor is singing. Except for maybe once it doesn't sound like he really let off the gas.

Great video right there now! Thank you...

They better bring their best engines. Doubt they'll all be singing at the end of the day. Engine builders probably have their fingers crossed.
