...is a volunteer run organization made up of racers from the southern Oregon, northern California, northern Nevada areas that have come up with a set of rules for the dirt Pro/Super type stockers. As anyone who has tried to do tour type racing unless you're IMCA, NASCAR, etc. it's difficult at best.

This group has come up with a simple formula that is working very well in it's second season. It's, basically, run your own track's rules with a few simple common denominators; stock front clip only, no 4 links except factory type like the metric cars, all iron engines, single carb, steel wheels not to exceed 10" wide. That's about it.

We've got low buck engined cars on 10 1/2" asphalt takeoffs to 2 barreled 355 engines running G 60s to 454 killer small blocks on any 11" inch tires with a 55 durometer right side limit, alcohol, gas, 604 crates, leafs, 3 links, etc., etc. All these are surprisingly competitive at the tracks the series runs, from desert bone dry flat to very heavy high banked and everything in between. Car counts have increased nicely with a high of 28, I think, last season.

A lot of sponsorship has come forward and all races pay a minimum of $1,000 to win with a $2,500 to win show last year's highlight. It's looking like there's going to be a very nice point fund this season also. Run by racers for racers it's been very clean racing without the carnage you often get at mixed sanctioned races.
