The excitement is building for the start of the 2021 racing season as the Park Jefferson Speedway readies for the 2021 lid lifter on April 9-10th. Park Jefferson Speedway will once again be IMCA sanctioned and feature an exciting array of travelling racing series to make Park Jefferson a destination for race fans and race teams from across the upper Midwest. With 6 touring racing series competing in 2021 at the track, fans will have plenty to cheer for and something new each and every night at Park Jefferson Speedway.Kicking off the season is the 2 day double header featuring the MSTS Sprint Cars who will present the South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals along with the Tri State Late Models and Night 1 of the IMCA sanctioned modifieds and stock cars. The sprint cars return the following Saturday as the Lucas Oil ASCS Series hits Park Jefferson Speedway along with the RACESaver Sprint Cars. It will be the ASCS first appearance at Park Jefferson since 2016. As the calendar turns to May, the Malvern Bank SLMR Late Models make their annual stop. Memorial Weekend sees a first as the 410 outlaw sprints return as the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association makes its first ever stop at Park Jefferson on Saturday night for 6th annual Memorial Duels which will also pay $1,000 to win the IMCA Modifieds. Monday will see a late afternoon memorial special with the RACESaver Sprints gunning for $1,000 to win. June sees the biggest USMTS race in South Dakota history as the national touring drivers will be gunning for $10,000 at the South Dakota oval. After a June break, the IMCA Midwest Madness Tour will bring night 3 to Park Jefferson on Monday, June 28. The Monster Truck Racing League brings some big-time horsepower to Park Jefferson on July 10th. A Monday night IMCA Modified Special will take center stage on Monday, July 26th after the Silver Dollar Nationals. That Saturday will see the first ever Sioux City Enduro. The pinnacle of the Park Jefferson local racing season will see a shift to Monday and Tuesday nights as the 8th annual J&J Fitting Iron Cup will bring the best IMCA drivers to challenge Siouxlands best for the coveted Iron Cups. The season will wrap up Saturday, August 14th with Season Championship night for the IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars and Sport Modifieds along with the Tri State Late Models.
