Are you talking about the cars Phil Coltrane was building?

Some were a Rayburn for sure, but I want to say there was at least 2 version.

I think they were built in Missouri. It was built about 2006 Has a 19 1/4 wide rack shaft. Could be a mix of Rayburn front and Rocket rear. Guess I'm going to have to start measuring stuff

I'd say it probably has the wrong rack on it. Not much from that era would use that rack, except GRT.

I bought it to part it out. The chassis is nice and straight and I was just trying to get a clue about it before I put the chassis out for sale.

So I think this is one of the cars Phil Coltrane was building.
What can anyone tell me about them. It looks like GRT front and maybe
    Mastersbuilt rear.

I am. But I took my ad down because as soon as I listed it I get told " Oh that car belonged to my buddy and its not this and its not that. I wanted more information on the car before I tried to sell it so I could avoid listing a car I was unfamiliar with. I have 3 late models and really don't need a 4th. This chassis is very nice but for now I decided to let it sit. As a result of listing it for sale I did find the original owner of the chassis and he was helpful. Turns out the chassis is 10 years newer than I was told. I still need proper component dimensions and lengths so it can be assembled and set up. I'm not in a hurry so I will just keep it and worry about it later
