Too fast often equals no side by side racing.

Thats because all the teams standing around have bought cars and parts from Rocket to allow them to have computers, work table and dyno.

Volusia was fast a couple months ago. But the racing stunk.

The fastest qualifying lap at Volusia I believe was a 15.839 during the sunshine Nationals last month.

noitall93w: just questioning who you might be referring to since it can't be cjsracing.

They had a table, laptop and shock dyno out. I'd venture to guess 99% of all late model teams have those items in their hauler.

And if a track is bad fast with one groove, it’s the same as a rubbered up track. Boring.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

What good is it sitting in the hauler and not down on pit lane where the cars are parked and worked on

I didn't see anyone else with it set up pit side last night.

Any True Racer would love the challenge of running Bristol. However , not all can get the time off from work to run Bristol. I would love to have my Mod on the track. Today race cars are built to be as safe as possible. I expect the races to be quite safe for the drivers.

Rocket 1 team had data acquisition on the house car. Had some pretty crazy load numbers.

I think something that people don't get sometimes is that when a track gets that fast, most of the time, its only that fast in one line around the track, so to keep up you have to race that line, but you can't pass. I've seen this a lot at Tazewell over the years.
I hope I'm wrong. I hope there's 2 good fast grooves where better cars can pass.
As important as aero is in Late Models these days, I do wonder if the cars will get so tight in traffic that they can't pass.

It might be different this year at Tazwell they have new clay they think the track record will fall it is 10.9 when John Thompson ran it I have seen them 2 an 3 wide many times maybe we can get back there.
