What did they cut the purse too.
-
Pierce, Fergy, and Gilpin have said they're not coming now. If we take away Bailes, Breazeale, Scott, and Jackson. We're almost down to 30. I can't see gordy passing up the MLRA races in his back yard to come tear up stuff at Bristol either.
I haven't seen where they had any alternates. I know tmac and McDowell turned down their invites as well.
-
The purse would have to be pretty large to make it worth a trip for guys who aren't WoO regulars and who are trying to actually take care of their stuff.
-
Invite only for this was pretty stupid to begin with. Hate to admit it but I’m Thinking about seeing if I can switch my camping reservations to the sprint car weekend.
-
Kryptonite, they could only fit 88 haulers in the infield. So they cut the invites in the middle at 44 each for the mods and supers. I'm sure there were some guys that wouldn't cared to have been put on a stand by list in case some of the original guys backed out. I'll be surprised if the same thing doesn't happen to the sprint show with guys backing out right before the show.
-
Gotcha. Thanks for the info. Personally I could’ve done without the mods and been happy with a full LM show but it is what it is!
-
They have teams parked all over the place at the Nationals. Not just the infield. So that still wasn’t a good reason.
-
Although I didn't like the delays it caused, Flyboy I have to agree with you for once. The first show had rigs parked everywhere, so this deal about getting all the haulers in the infield is a crook of cow turds. Guys turning down the invite is no surprise either. Tires and motors, the place has to be costly for a weekend.

They don't plan on opening the gate during the woo shows

There were no teams parked in the infield a few weeks ago flyboy

Flyboy is so ignorant- he don’t know where he pooped last! Maybe someone will start a go -fund me deal for him to disappear?
