Yes-it is a bummer! I think the 15 lap shootouts would have probably been the best races. Regular drivers are probably happy- but the fans took a big hit. Can’t control Mother Nature- could be a 1 and done deal for NASCAR dirt racing now???

Mike will start 37th in the cup race. Maybe he can follow Larson to the front.

I wanna see how they're gonna get a 100 or so haulers outta there. Slick, slimey mess. Might take a week.

Many of the campgrounds and parking lots are flooded. I certainly feel for those fans and teams there waiting it out. A much anticipated event that got set back by Mother Nature. Depending on tomorrow’s show & drivers and fans response afterward will probably depend if it happens again on dirt.
FWIW: I read that the reason for the dirt at Bristol is that FOX TV network requested it -?? Has anybody else heard that?

I seem to recall reading or hearing a while back that Fox played a big part in NASCAR returning to dirt and Bristol being the location.

The amount of space Nathan takes up is about the same amount Ernie takes up. Ernie loves picking on Nathan. Always has. Ernie's a cool guy though...

    Default Dirt at Bristol happened

Because NASCAR was a bish about it happening at the perfect spot in Ohio for them to race on dirt.....idiots.

Was hoping Bristol would work.....epic fail so far.

Most daytime dirt races get the same dust.

Bristol just announced that the dirt will return next year.
