Default New Mexican LM Chassis Builder

A new chassis company is starting business in the Toluca region of Mexico where GM builds the very popular 602 & 604 crate engines. Run by members of the large Ortega family, many of whom are or were employed by GM they initially will be concentrating on chassis/classes which run those engines.

With Mexico's considerably cheaper labor and material costs they figure on a very reasonably priced competitive piece. Tentatively they will be up and running in the next couple of months under the brand name of Agave Race Cars and will be including a bottle of Tequila with every purchase.

Im sure their chassis's will be the cheapest by far........but those pkgs in the fuel cell will make it cost more than those Black Magic Warriors!

Eagle One Fab & dirtcrazy4u, The Hoseheads post about Triple X moving to Mexico and renaming the company XX Chassis or Dos Equis was also mine. Someone at Hoseheads pulled it mid morning. Can't even imagine why.. no bad language, no religious or political content, nothing that could possibly offend anyone. No sense of humor on April Fools' Day I guess.

Changing the subject a bit here- just curious to what had happened to all the Pierce fans on 4m? You use to have a lot of admiration (lol) for those guys? Just wondering if Covid19 got them or what?

What happened to all the bobby fans you say? Thay finally started feeling embarrassed (understandably so, took a while, they're slow) by the bunch after the drunken t shirt burnage? 🙈

Not surprised. Do you remember the knock-down argument that almost turn into a fist fight on the floor of PRI in Orlando between Cal from Triple X and Chris Paulson from C&R radiators?
