    Default RIP James “Peanut” Roland

I was thankful and grateful to know this man for the last 17 years. He became like a second father to me, although most of our conversations were over the phone the last couple of years. Just wish I had met him earlier but glad I did have the time I did. I will always remember our times together at The World and The North/South!You will be missed!!!

Extremely sorry to hear this news. I sat just down from Peanut at Eldora for years. I was amazed that 75% percent of the fans that passed by him knew him and he knew them and would stop and speak. A very smart and kind man. He will be missed.

I remember seeing him at Florence Speedway many times.

    RIP Mr. Roland
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.
