If you want to see a fine example for a promoter to set watch the videos of Paul Stone, Merced Speedway, CA' promoter in a heat race react after roughing up Josh Combs, a normally calm driver. After a couple of times with Stone getting into him Combs had enough and dumped Stone in the next corner. Stone reacted by getting out of his car and throwing punches at Combs while he was still in his car.

Stone is a long time central valley star in the Mods and Combs has only been on dirt for 3 or 4 years, coming from many years in LM and Mods on the hard stuff. Vids are easy to find. Just search for videos of Modifieds at Merced Speedway on 4-17-21.
