    Default WoO Boone

What do you think the turnout will look like at Boone next week? 2 day show and they are starting 3 wide like the IMCA Super Nationals but it does pay $30,000 to win. I think it will be interesting to see how they prep the track and maintain it during the event, typically they farm it a couple times during a night keeping the track pretty fresh. The other wildcard is they have a lot of wood chips in the dirt so it doesn't behave like most tracks.

With tickets going for $60/each I think I'll be watching on Dirt Vision.

I still haven't decided if I'm going or not. I'll have to decide by Monday.

Seems like Gustin would be somewhat of a favorite. Turned a few laps there. Probably more than anyone going?

Shiny I would go. I went for the IMCA Super Nationals last year on Thursday. That track is racy as hell. That will be a great show if the weather holds out. The folks there are polite, and helpful with any questions you might have. I would definitely go back.

Rain is out of the area there.

$65 for a brand new event paying $30,000 to win is a fair price. People need to remember that if fans do not support these new events they won’t continue. If you are close enough to go please support those putting on these shows.

Agree Tireguy17. It all be a really good show as they are probably as experienced in track prep for their track as anyone in the country.

Y'all ain't seen track farming till you've been to Boone. Whether there are 1200 cars in the pits, or 120, they know what works for them.

I don't know about Ryan Gustin getting very many laps in on the Boone track. Ryan has mostly run the USMTS Mod Touring Series. Boone is an IMCA sanctioned track. Riche Gustin and Jimmy Gustin are both masters of the track and have a lot of lap time. Now, of all the drivers entered, I would say Kyle Strickler has the most laps on the Boone Speedway. Kyle knows the track like the back of his hand and has won the Super Nationals twice in a Mod. If Ricky Thornton Jr shows up , he has a lot of laps on the Boone track also. Ricky Thornton JR has also won the Super Nationals in a Mod.
