Brandon Kinzer Lands Another Top Ten at Boyd’s Speedway; Doubleheader Ahead

(LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and Kinzer Motorsports dipped south to Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Friday night, April 23. The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series presided over the event at the Chattanooga-area venue and a $1,200 winner's check was on the line. Brandon clicked off the eighth fastest lap overall during the qualifying session, which allowed him to start from the outside of the fourth row in the 25-lap feature event. The Lexington, Kentucky native then raced hard all over the top ten and ran multiple laps side-by-side with former NASCAR star Ken Schrader before winding up right where he started... in the eighth spot.

Saturday's similar $1,200 to win Iron-Man Modified Series tussle scheduled for Wartburg Speedway in Wartburg, Tennessee was then washed out by inclement weather. Complete results from Friday's trip to Boyd's Speedway can be accessed online at www.imdirt.net.

The #18 team will jump right back into racing action this weekend (April 30-May 1) in the states of Tennessee and Virginia. Up first will be a visit to Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee later tonight for a weekly Open Wheel Modified program. That will precede Saturday’s stop at the picturesque Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia. The 1/2-mile speedplant will host the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series for the ‘Mountain Modified Championship,’ which boasts a $3,000 payday.
