Thread: Tight?

    Default Tight?

What would be a good way to free the car up on the gas? Running 150 pounds of droop load.

One would have to see your car in action to give a good answer. Easy things to try would be less rr rebound or more rf rebound.

    Maybe increase your RR load?

If you give more detail, I'm sure you'll get some good answers.

It feels like it is on the RR until it gets to the center. Then it feels like it transfers back to the LR an pushes. Will more RR load make it tight going in?

Quite possibly. I feel like your rf is coming up too fast, but it's just a guess.

lengthen the rr, leave the rest of the car alone if she is traction up good, don't lift, just a burp

Is your LF lifting off the ground at that point?

The lf is chained up, maybe lifts at the most a inch. But it's mostly on the ground.

No where near enough info here to make a call but drooping out the lf more should free the car up on initial throttle provide the chain is the limiting factor not shock valving at that point

IDK, just WAY to vague. Lengthening the RR Rods 1/4" (2 turns) will free car up overall no matter what you got.

The goal is to run wide open all the way around! But we must compromise ...sometimes

I was wondering what you meant by "It feels like it is on the RR..." Does that mean the RR feels like it is sticking, or that you are "rolled over" onto the RR?

    It is sticking.

It's not a standard rocket setup blue Grey cars never ran a tether on the lf
