This Saturday May 8th is the 5th Annual White Lightning Showdown. The practice order will be

After practice we will have track inspection/prep. We will then line up for the White Lighting qualifying. We will race the White Lighting Showdown to kick off the season. Then track prep and go right into our heat races starting with the Bombers.

Drivers you will need a raceiver, Shadyhill Driver ID card and a DIRTcar license in order to race at Shadyhill. (4-Bangers and Stock Car classes do NOT need a DIRTcar license).

Notice to Drivers: We have several new tech tools so be sure to follow the rulebook. One common misunderstanding is that the rulebook does NOT list all the things you cannot do, or it would be 54,000 pages or more. Do what the rulebook allows you. If you have a question please ask.

Chris Hasara will be performing the National Anthem. Chris is an Army Veteran of the 101st Airborne and a local songwriter. Rick Helton will be doing the pre-race invocation.

To celebrate Mother’s Day the first 100 Mother’s at each gate will get a gift. We will NOT be having practice on Sunday May 9th to honor Mother’s Day.
