This is what I don't understand about posts like that: Why does anybody feel the need to respond at all? Why not just let it languish and die on it's own? People like that are on every forum, and they absolutely THRIVE on stirring the pot. For every time a single comment is posted, it simply adds fuel to their fire and allows them and the thread to continue. The kryptonite (apologies to the Carpenters) for people like that is to totally ignore them.

I agree in principle, but I too was guilty of replying. What good does it do to ban his screen name? He will just register a new one and be trolling again soon. I don't understand why the Mods don't just ban the IP address for repeat offenders.

He has numerous threads/posts in the tailgate section without any replies and that hasn�t slowed him down. I agree ignore/no reply is a course but no need to see that crap in Late Model section. The mods at least create a corner for him to spew whatever crap he wants.
