#1 on the list should be a racing surface that allows racers to pass.

    1. When a fan pulls into the parking area he should see were he needs to go immediately. The place should look good.
    2. Enough people working the ticket windows.
    3. The smell of a good concession stand
    4. A good surface
    5. Restrooms, they have to be clean and don't make you want to gag when you get close to them
    6. Start on time and keep the show moving
    7. Have the next race stagged and ready to move on track as soon as the last car clears the surface
    8. A good announcer and a good speaker system
    9. Get the fans in and out. Run the headliner class first, isn't that what people came to see ?
    10. Run your back gate classes and offer them half price food in the pit concession because with some promotors they want to suck every last dime out of your pocket.

Interesting, the track condition is not in the top 5. Perhaps that is assumed. But a great article, really agreed with it all.

I would put track surface and efficiency at 1a and 1b.

    2. Multiple lines for tickets and concessions.
    3. Clean restrooms.
    4. Safe and comfortable seating.
    5. Multiple parking lot exit options

Also, an announcer doesn’t matter if the speakers don’t work. But ... I really don’t want to listen to any announcer all night. Keep things moving on the track and just tell us what we need to know. If there’s a break, put some music on.

    • A working scoreboard. Surprising how many tracks don't even have a scoreboard, at all.
    • Good Track Surface
    • Good Lighting
    • Good Concession foods
    • Efficient lineup and cleanup procedures

I'm a minimalistic person so a lot of stuff is just fluff, to me. As long as the show is good and as efficient as possible I will be happy.

Scoreboard and a PA system that works. I like to hear music or something when there is no on track activities

    1. Playboy level trophy girls wearing as little as possible.
    2. A chigger free lawn chair area.
    3. Nacho cheese that’s less than a year old.
    4. Toilets that don’t involve splinters.
    5. Good corn dogs.

The only thing I care about is a good racing surface. Everything else is secondary.
