Devin Moran takes over the top spot for best throwback scheme!
-
23 cars is better than I was expecting. I’ll take it.
-
Judging by Zeros lap time, bloomquist wil be lapped half way through the festure
-
These commercials are nauseating ...
-
At least Bloomquist put a throwback on it, unlike Davenport. I mean you’d think if anyone went there thinking hey there’s a free $5,000 for running a throwback scheme when I win, it would be him. Must be nice not to need money, just my thoughts.
-
I don’t think anyone considers Bloomquist’s wrap a “throwback”.
-
My guess is with the Dirt Draft sponsor it was the most logical scheme to go with the colors. It’s more than the 49 cared to do and I appreciate him participating even if it’s not up to everyone’s requirements to be considered a throwback.
-
Why are you so salty about what they have their cars look like or if they rewrapped their cars for the race. Are you mad about all the other guys that didn’t?

No, not “made” at all. Just saying if I’m the clear favorite in a pretty weak field and you’re gonna tell me the winner gets an extra 5 grand for a throwback wrap, I’m probably gonna participate and pocket the free money.
-
Was the $5000 bonus available tonight? I was thinking it was tomorrow night only. I’m not sure.
-
I’m sure it’s just tomorrow but I can’t imagine them trying to wrap a car outside in the wind etc., seems like a job for the shop. Maybe they will though. Perhaps they’ll prove me wrong.
-
They could do like Bloomer and just change a couple stickers from two years ago and call it a throwback lol.
-
I was bummed about bloomers throwback too, the long laps made it weird to watch but I enjoyed the whole broadcast just because I had never seen live laps on it
That place could host one hell of a good concert.....I'll bet a good bluegrass weekend( and I love good bluegrass) would be epic in them thar hills.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
-
Thanks for pointing that out, mobile isn’t the best for this site.
Assuming tomorrow night he doesn’t win, he wouldn’t get the bonus and be out needless money. Would it be a bad decision then? Just playing the other side here.
I feel like Bloomquist’s is worse. He did re-wrap and it still wasn’t that great.

Anyone know what it costs to wrap a car these days? I admittedly don’t have a clue, but it’s not 5 grand. I’ll also gladly take JD and give you the field if you’d like to bet who the winner will be lol.
-
No, not that much. But last time they were there like 5 car finished, Erb lost a tire on the last couple laps, and Moran would have flown by him before that wheel came off even after having a flat himself.
Not saying he is not one of the favorites, but finishing at that track after the last race was not something to bank on

Were you expecting a Bill Frye throwback or something 🤔

Haha ... that would be AWESOME.

7-800 for a standard wrap.
Dalton Cook told me he had 1200 in each side of the yellow and purple car he had. Pictures didn't do this car any justice. I normally hate yellow race cars, but this one won me over
