Default Does Rocket1 need to hire Madden?

Looks like Smokey is qualified to diagnose whatever is holding back the 1.

Somehow I feel covid has caused some of this. Parts availability.

Oh yeah, I like this idea... Madden is a good driver, but how long has he lasted with teams he has driven for recently?

Winning statement, all this crap about covid, parts shortage, fabrication guru is truly hilarious. Hey look at me I've got a 4M account and I'm smarter than Mark Richards.

Indeed the expectations are high but I doubt Mark is ready to get on LinkedIn for help.

Remember folks, that's why they race em. If the highest funded team won 100% of the time we could save time, leave them in the hauler, and just give the trophy to the top dog.

    Flyboy,

Some things are hard to get. House teams, with cars on the track, and parts warehouses, are not missing a piece for the car on the track.

I doubt DLM teams are getting their parts from third world suppliers who are low on stock. Those teams are run by men who do things themselves. The real answer is probably money. Either Sheppard wants more and isn't getting it, or Richards doesn't want to spend any extra on the car. They may have had a record setting season last year but I imagine the costs are close to what they won. He's already pumped out 1000 of the things and doesn't have anything left to prove.

Access to material to make blocks, cranks, pistons, rear end housings, etc is not a third world problem right now

I just talked to an guy you know the other day. They have broken 2 rear ends lately, and winters had told them 2-3 month wait on a new one. So that just goes to show ya, it's starting to roll down hill slowly.
