I watched a 30 minute show about a writer from TN planting his feet in AL, a lawyer by trade, spent most of his life going thru the news papers and all material in AL during the time frame of the war between the States, to find the true history about that time era in Alabama. Wow, this down to earth writer knows how to speak the truth, for I learned so much to tie in with other information during the War between the States and what roll did Alabama have. A few notes: Europeans was looking for rich crop land but the early settlers ruined the soil, becoming a land grab by the rich planters who forced whites to move even more west. A million dollar bounty was put on anyone who would kill Lincoln, Johnson and ????? by a rich planter from Alabama, named Hale (Hale county); Booth (was there an e on the end of his name?) did not finish the job. The vote to stay out of the war was close in this State, but whites were told if the Negro slaves got freedom, they will kill you in an uprising just like what happened in the Slave Islands (Haiti, Dom. Rep.), to force Southern men to fight. Alabama was becoming the new PA with industrial output, but was destroyed by the North. Nathen Bedford Forest was called the 'War Eagle', the battler cry of Auburn University. Winston county still claims to be a free country, a building North of Double Springs still has that painted on the side of it. Also note that Jim Crow gave Blacks equal rights but demanded the races to remain apart......So if I take African history, American white culture along with what religion teaches about the demonic Voodoo African, it all comes down to power and control. Blacks in America are rooted in killing whites and whites are afraid of that, for it is truly a race war for Satan to win over God.

Do note that 'The War between the States' was just that, States had different view points. The Confederate Government was a nasty Government controlled most by the rich planters who wanted power, thus make more money and did not have the best interest in the Southern people. The war is NOT called 'The Civil War' which arrived in the civil rights era by Blacks who demanded power, and the war was NOT solely about slavery as Blacks claim, used as an agenda to promote solely an independent Black Nation without whites. Blacks will rise up in time and destroy America, history repeats itself.

This claim about the origins about the term Civil War is a blatant lie. The name was used literally during the war itself by the likes of Lincoln and the Supreme Court and many leaders and generals on both sides referred to the conflict as a civil war. Jefferson Davis literally said as such in his book "The Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government" in 1881. "The War Between the States" wasn't even a popular name until after the war either.

There is a view point difference between the right and the left, 'arrived' is not the same as 'origins'........ There is a saying, "The winner of a war gets to write the history"...... The North wants to walk out with their heads held high and beating their chest with pride claiming a moral victory, the Yankee way, not solely the case because don't look in the closet. The South was beaten and demoralized. The view point is different among both sides with different words to describe the history, just like the White man and the Black man, different with different agendas, DNA and cultures. I'm starting to understand what it is like to be an Afro-American for America is NOT their ideal of a country; for this Nation was founded upon Whites and the Christians religion, not the tribal culture of an African, and not solely on the backs of Blacks, which is again claimed for an agenda. This Nation has to accept that, but Blacks are not allowing that to happen and continue to destroy America with 'Civil Rights' (Satan) as the platform. The African was looked upon as an Ape sub-human centuries ago, with known DNA now to prove certain things, researchers are stating to understand their smaller brains even more. BBC reported that Neanderthals (White Europeans), now to believe by some, 'originated' solely on their own, not from the one African Ape female, some 40,000 years ago. The fossil records are slim, but if this holds, Darwin got it half right and religion got it correct.

He can't explain away his blatant lie so he chooses to ignore it and go on another tangent. The term was used during the actual war and there is a huge amount of documented proof from the era. Despite your desire for it to be, this isn't even a moral argument, you made a claim to back up your views but had to lie to make it work.

Since the left thinks backwards; I'll turn it around for them, ''origins is not the same as arrived". A Troll argues just to get their kicks. If they were a piglet, they would suckle from a boar hog, that is how confused they are, you know, Civil Rights.

The book also cites other sources that also refer to the war as such. In terms of this argument, this book provides the exact evidence needed to prove that this term was used well before the Civil Rights Movement.

If you're going to say "Origins is not the same as arrived", you should at least try to explain what you mean. Even if you use the word arrived instead of origins, the term civil war in terms of describing the conflict ARRIVED during the war itself. Also, this still isn't an argument about each sides perspective. It doesn't matter in this argument what the South decides to call the war, this is about you claiming nobody referred to it as The Civil War until the Civil Rights Movement. That specific claim is a lie and changing origins with arrived changes nothing.

Also, a recent Pew Research study shows a higher percentage of African Americans are Christian (79%) than the percentage of White Americans (70%). A higher percentage of White Americans aren't religious at all (24%) than African Americans (18%) as well

Anecdotal whether you are honest enough and willing or smart enough to acknowledge the reality.
Now, go fix your man-bun pretty and do your nails real nice and spare the world the spurious ideological interpretations that you believe will support your PC BS.
