Poor Stormy. Some guys have the talent some just dont. Hate to see that happen at any right. That family has put so much effort in the sport

What happened to Stormy ?

On the first feature they showed JD on in car. I can’t believe they let him run with no gloves. The rule book goes out the window by not enforcing safety rules first and foremost.

JD was wearing gloves, but they are white, so hard to see the difference. It looked like he took them off when rolling across the scales though
Stormy and Overton were in a heated battle for the lead with a few laps to go. He drove her into 1 full send, it didn't stick and ended up in the wall and grinding to a halt when the RF got stuck in it

Stormy, like others, seemed to need to run the top to be competitive. And there’s a good chance it bites at some time. Guys that got my attention were those that could remain competitive while running the middle and lessen the risk. For instance Owens, Overton, and Davenport, if one of that group doesn’t win it I’ll be surprised.
I hate time trials.

I went back and watched the replay and right you are, missed the gloves watching it live. It's a hotbutton for me because I've seen a guy burn and that's as bad as it gets.
